Based in Rayleigh, you will be joining an industry-leading technology company that specialises in the manufacture of payment systems.
Due to a change of market and a drastic increase in business, the company is now seeking an innovative and experienced electronics-based Research & Development engineer to join their R & D team. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support the design and development of RF Products
- Support the manufacturing team in the industrial scaling up of technology and following processes.
- Test and validation of manufactured products
- Support full life cycle design processes
- Procure and test products and new innovations from industry partners, integrating where compatible in development workflows.
This is just a summary of duties, and other responsibilities will be required.
Skills & Experience required:
- Degree in Electronics, Physics or related engineering discipline
- Experience with RF systems and applications - Highly beneficial
- Understanding of core electronic principles
- Hands-on experience with the testing of equipment
- Design knowledge would be advantageous (AutoCAD)
- Motivated to bring new ideas to a small growing team
