Your new company A leading manufacturer specialising in accessories for high-rise construction. This organisation is committed to innovation, safety, and continuous improvement across its operations. Your new role As SHEQ Lead, you will report directly to the Production Manager and take ownership of the SHEQ strategy on-site. This is a hands-on role, embedded within the production environment, where you will drive improvements in safety culture, systems, and behaviours. You will also support SHEQ activities across sister brands, requiring occasional travel within GB. You will be championing Health & Safety across the site and challenging unsafe behaviours. Leading internal audits and managing incident investigations. Developing and implementing SHEQ policies and procedures. Maintaining training matrices and delivering inductions and basic safety training.Driving SHEQ improvement projects and embedding quality control processes. Supporting ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 compliance and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership. What you\’ll need to succeed Ideally you will have a degree in a relevant H&S or quality-related discipline and proven experience in a SHEQ or similar role within a manufacturing environment. You will have a strong track record of delivering safety and quality improvements and excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills as well as proficiency in MS Excel and safety systems and a practical, hands-on approach and ability to work independently. It is desirable to have a NEBOSH qualification or working towards it. What you\’ll get in return Competitive salary package. Standard working hours: Mon-Thurs 8.45am-5.00pm, Fri 8.45am-3.30pm.
