Immingham-Field Service-based. Salary-£30k-£32k plus company car & fuel card. Monday-Friday days 9-5.
The company: Based in Lindsay oil refinery, you will be joining a well-known innovative manufacturing/engineering service provider with a large UK and international presence working with companies in a wide range of industries, such as oil & gas, FMCG, Pharmaceutical and more. Due to continued expansion and growth, they are now seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician/Service Engineer with Mechanical skills to join their field service team.
The role will involve performing water analysis, collecting samples, calibration of equipment, fault-finding and repairs on pumps, panels and more. Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Provides service and support on site.
- Performs water analysis and/or collects samples for preparation, labelling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis.
- Completes and distributes on-site reports based on any work carried out on site.
- Troubleshoots and repairs pumps, instruments and control panels.
- Calibrates instrumentation.
- Conducts preventative maintenance on water treatment plant, chemical feed pumps, controllers and instrumentation.
- Maintains inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, piping, etc.), and adequate supply of spare parts through ordering system.
This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience in an industrial environment.
- Mechanical engineering experience.
- Qualification in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering or Technical Chemistry or similar.
- Experience in the water or chemical industry would be advantageous.
- Customer-facing experience.
