Based in Rayleigh, you will be joining an industry-leading technology company that specialises in the manufacture of payment systems. Due to a change of market and a drastic increase in business, the company is now seeking an innovative and experienced electronics-based Research & Development engineer to join their R & D team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Support the design and development of RFID Products
  • Support the manufacturing team in the industrial scaling up of technology and following processes.
  • Test and validation of manufactured products
  • Support full lifecycle design processes
  • Procure and test products and new innovations from industry partners, integrating where compatible in development workflows.
  • Design and prototype RFID inlays using embedded wire technology.

This is just a summary of duties, and other responsibilities will be required.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Degree in Electronics, Physics or related engineering discipline
  • Experience with RF systems and applications - Highly beneficial
  • Understanding of core electronic principles
  • Hands-on experience with the testing of equipment
  • Design knowledge would be advantageous (AutoCAD)
  • Motivated to bring new ideas to a small growing team
