The business is a market leader in engineering high-performance movement systems, including cabinetry, machinery, and other industries. Your new role involves being a Design & Production Engineer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and manufacturing discipline. You will be hands-on across the full life cycle: designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing solutions into production using robust Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. You will provide support for validation and verification activities, working with a test engineer. Additionally, you will develop assembly aids, jigs, and fixtures while collaborating with quality and operations teams. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise product design, development, and production processes.
What you'll need to succeed includes ideally having a degree in mechanical engineering (or similar), experience gained in product design and development, preferably from manufacturing. Strong CAD and Inventor experience is required, along with the ability to work independently or within a team environment.
