Your new company is a well-established and growing manufacturing business in the Lurgan area seeking a General Operative to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role with a stable employer offering a four-day working week and regular overtime opportunities.
Your new role involves supporting daily production activities within a busy manufacturing environment. Duties will include:
- Operating production machinery and equipment
- Handling and moving steel products safely
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting wider production and warehouse operations as required
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering or production environment
- Experience operating machinery would be advantageous
- Forklift licence or forklift experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
