This organisation designs and manufactures high‑performance products used globally across commercial, defence, emergency services and industrial environments.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of full‑cycle mechanical design projects - from concept development through to prototyping, testing and production - within a business known for innovation, quality and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the mechanical design of new and existing products using 3D CAD (SolidWorks or similar).
- Develop concepts, detailed models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are optimised for manufacturability.
- Support R&D, prototyping and testing activities, including material selection and performance validation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including electrical, fabrication, quality and operations.
