Your new company
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced maintenance engineer for a well-known manufacturer based in Lowestoft. Working 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating shift pattern.
Your new role
On joining this highly experienced and motivated engineering team, you will monitor line performance and proactively rectify underperforming equipment by carrying out both mechanical and electrical fault-finding diagnostics. You will carry out high level maintenance, including adjustments, replace or repair components and carrying out major overhauls of equipment. You will monitor equipment operating conditions, collect data and log and analyse results to maintain equipment in optimum condition.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally, you will have completed a full multi-skilled apprenticeship, or equivalent, with recognised qualifications including 18th edition and good knowledge of fault-finding and diagnostics.
- Experience gained within an FMCG environment (ideally food) but other FMCG industries will be considered.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, problem-solving ability and the ability to work well in a team environment.
