A leading organisation is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join their engineering function on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and analytical individual to play a key role in improving maintenance planning, performance and reliability within a fast-paced operational environment.
As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing effective weekly and monthly maintenance plans, ensuring all activities are properly scheduled, resourced and aligned to operational priorities. You will work closely with engineering and operational teams, using data-driven insights to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Creating and managing detailed maintenance schedules
- Maintaining accurate data within the CMMS system
- Managing work orders from creation through to completion
- Coordinating planned and statutory maintenance activities
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure work is delivered on time and to standard
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in a maintenance planning or coordination role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload
- Experience using CMMS systems and planning tools
- A technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilise data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
