You will be working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights). In this role, you will:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a wide range of plant and equipment
- Respond to breakdowns efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Support equipment reliability and availability through effective maintenance practices
- Identify and report spare parts requirements
- Work in line with safe systems of work, SOPs and risk assessments
- Contribute to a multi-skilled engineering team and undertake further training where required
You will bring a strong electrical engineering background and:
- A qualification to ONC level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- Experience working with control systems, including PLCs
- Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams
- Experience of motors and variable speed drives
- A proactive and safety-focused approach to maintenance
- Willingness to develop multi-skilled capabilities
- A full UK driving licence
- Experience with container handling or crane equipment would be advantageous but is not essential.
