Job Summary

The successful candidate will join the Engineering & Design team, supporting the planning and execution of activities required for product qualification. This includes generating technical documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project milestones are met. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who is analytical, organised, and eager to learn. It offers exposure to a wide range of engineering disciplines and the opportunity to contribute to products used in survival-critical environments. While initially focused on project coordination and administration, the position will evolve into a multi-disciplinary engineering role with responsibility for product qualification and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning - Create and manage short- and long-term project plans, communicating progress and driving tasks to completion.
  • Test Execution - Develop, execute, and report on test plans; participate in testing activities when appropriate; prepare associated safety documentation.
  • Requirements Interpretation - Analyse and manage complex technical requirements to support qualification programmes.
  • Evidence Review - Identify and document qualification evidence from legacy and current products.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination - Work with engineering, production, finance, and other departments to ensure timely task completion.
  • Risk Assessment - Conduct product risk assessments, including Failure Modes and Effects Analyses.
  • Process Improvement - Identify inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
