Your new company
A successful manufacturing company with 3 sites across NI. A family run business with approximately 100 workers. Due to growth the company have a requirement for a H&S Manager.
Your new role
The Health and Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees by implementing and maintaining health and safety standards in compliance with legal requirements and company policies. The role involves risk assessments, safety audits, training, and promoting a culture of safety within the manufacturing facility. You will be required to implement and strengthen H&S procedures.
You will conduct Risk Assessments, identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks, safety Audits and Inspections, perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also carry out Incident Investigations to determine causes and recommend preventive measures. You will carry out training and education, develop and deliver health and safety training programs for employees and assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures and develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
Full time hours, days, Mon – Fri. Flexible with start and finish times.
What you’ll need to succeed
Ideal candidate will have NEBOSH Certification and have proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. You will have a strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices and be a strong communicator. You wil need to have driving licence to travel between 3 sites.
