Your new role Joining the site\’s senior leadership team, you\’ll partner with the Plant Manager and Engineering Lead to establish and maintain world-class quality benchmarks. You\’ll lead initiatives that embed a continuous improvement culture and ensure the plant meets evolving customer expectations.Key responsibilities include: Defining and delivering robust quality standards aligned with customer and compliance requirements Leading ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 adherence through a maturing QMS Managing customer complaint resolution with critical analysis and accountability Improving product performance and process efficiency through technical expertise Driving transformation and product development alongside Commercial and Technical functions Representing the business to external technical bodies and steering innovation adoption Championing Lean Six Sigma methodology, coaching teams and enhancing data-led decision-makingWhat you\’ll need to succeed You\’ll bring a blend of strategic thinking, technical depth, and proven leadership. The ideal candidate would have: A degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related engineering field Extensive experience in technical or quality leadership within heavy industry Strong understanding of IATF 16949 standards and core quality tools Confidence in managing KPIs and leading cross-functional change initiativesLean Six Sigma qualifications are preferred but not essential-what matters most is your ability to apply a continuous improvement mindset and influence at all levels.
