Your new role
As Production Planner, you will play a key role in coordinating production activity and ensuring efficient scheduling across the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and scheduling production across a multi-work centre environment with capacity considerations
- Working closely with sales, production, and purchasing teams to align workflow with demand
- Developing weekly and daily production plans to maximise output and efficiency
- Acting as the central point of communication for production progress and delivery updates
- Ensuring delivery dates are accurate and clearly communicated
- Supporting sales and operations planning activities to align demand with capacity
- Driving continuous improvement within planning processes and ERP systems
- Monitoring key metrics including output, dispatch, and forecast accuracy
