This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role with a stable employer offering a four-day working week and regular overtime opportunities. Your new role As a General Operative, you will play a key role in supporting daily production activities within a busy manufacturing environment. Duties will include: Operating production machinery and equipment Handling and moving steel products safely Carrying out quality checks on finished products Assisting with loading and unloading materials Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Following health and safety procedures at all times Supporting wider production and warehouse operations as required What you ll need to succeed Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering or production environment Experience operating machinery would be advantageous Forklift licence or forklift experience is desirable but not essential Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication and teamwork skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn What you ll get in return Competitive pay rate of 14.00 per hour Overtime paid at time and a half Permanent position from day one Monday to Thursday working pattern (12:00pm to 10:30pm) Every Friday off Long-term career opportunities wit...
