Your new company A successful engineering company close to Portadown who manufacture for several sectors, top quality parts. They are experiencing growth and have a long staying workforce. Your new role As CNC Programmer you will create programs for CNC lathes and turn-mill machines, from technical drawings and other sources. Perform set up and prove out on CNC lathes and turn mill machines. Monitor operation and machine displays to detect malfunctions. Operate machines and measure parts for conformity with specifications and diagnose faults, analyse, and improve programs and methods to increase machine efficiency and/or reduce risk of non-conformance. Compliance with, implementation of, and contribution to improving relevant quality standards. Concise and accurate record keeping including ensuring the integrity of the technical database. Comply with good housekeeping and Health and Safety standards / legislation and contribute to improvements. 4 DAY WEEK!!! Mon – Thurs 7.00am – 5.15pm What you'll need to succeed Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years programming, setting and operating experience on Fanuc based multi-axis CNC lathes and turn-mill machines. Have a high standard of PC literacy – use of Microsoft Office applications and Windows type network environments and be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
