Your new company
You will be joining a leading manufacturer specialising in high-performance packaging solutions for the medical equipment sector. The site operates advanced production and R&D machinery and maintains a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Your new role
As a Shift Electrical Engineer on a 4-shift 'Dupont' rotation, you will provide 24/7 support to production, service plant and development equipment. Responsibilities include electrical diagnostics, fault-finding, repairs, and scheduled maintenance. You will ensure strict compliance with LOTO procedures, maintain accurate maintenance records and drawings, support energy-saving initiatives, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
What you will need to succeed
- 18th Edition (IET Wiring Regulations) - essential
- Completed apprenticeship with an electrical bias - essential
- Relevant electrical engineering qualification
- Strong manufacturing experience
- Excellent health & safety awareness
- Ability to fault-find, diagnose and repair to component level
- Competent reading circuit diagrams and using diagnostic instrumentation
- Good IT skills, including CMMS familiarity
- Strong organisation, communication, and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Experience with contractor management and permit-to-work systems (advantageous)
