Job Title: Year 6 Maternity Cover Teacher

Start Date: May 2025

This Hackney primary school, rated as "outstanding", requires a Year 6 class teacher from May 2025 to cover a maternity absence. The school is a calm learning environment. About the role of Year 6 Class Teacher

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback. Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning. Communicate effectively with parents and carers about students' progress and well-being.  

What you need to apply for this Year 6 maternity cover job:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
