Your new company My client is embarking on a digital transformation programme and replacing a Cobol-coded order and despatch system. A number of gaps have been identified, and we are currently seeking a SAP ABAP Developer. Your new role As a SAP ABAP Developer, you will be able to work autonomously to meet project timelines and drive out resolutions to problems. You will take ownership of accepted tasks with a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. What you’ll need to succeed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Solid experience in SAP ABAP Development. Completed 3 full life cycle SAP implementation/rollout projects. Experience of implementing ABAP Programming, preferably Object Oriented. Proficient in API interface developments using CDS Views, OData services, RFC, BAPI, IDOC, Web Services, Proxy, SOAP & REST interfaces. Strong experience in implementing development objects like Reports, Data dictionary objects, Function modules, BADI, BAPI, User-Exits, Enhancements, Scripts, Smart forms and Adobe forms. Experience of using POSTMAN for testing APIs. Good to have experience in the RESTful ABAP programming (RAP) model and ASAPIO Integration with SAP ERP. What you’ll get in return £Market rates
