We're working with a growing and highly specialist contractor based in North Yorkshire who are looking to appoint a Contracts Manager to support continued growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, agile business delivering specialist internal construction & fit-out works for well-known clients including major hospitality brands, alongside occasional larger-scale NHS projects.
The Role
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role with real ownership. You'll be involved across the full project lifecycle, including:
- Following up leads and supporting work-winning activity
- Taking off drawings and producing estimates
- Managing relationships with main contractors and clients
- Coordinating subcontractors, materials, and project delivery
- Visiting site (typically once per week on larger projects) to ensure quality and progress
Projects are typically fast-paced, with a high volume of smaller works (£3k-£5k), alongside more substantial contracts reaching up to £350k. Annual turnover currently sits at circa £1.2m, offering a varied and engaging workload.
