Your new role
As a Project Officer at Your Housing Group, you'll provide day-to-day housing support and keyworker guidance for residents at Tiernan Lodge in Wigan. You'll deliver 1‑2‑1 sessions, group work, life‑skills coaching and independent‑living support, while maintaining a safe and well‑managed environment. This is a full-time position on a 12‑week rolling rota, including weekends and bank holidays, covering 8am-4pm and 8am-8pm shifts.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults in housing, supported living, homelessness, or community‑based services
- Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver structured support plans
- Confidence working independently and as part of a rota‑based team
- Ability to manage safeguarding concerns, boundaries and professional relationships
- A commitment to promoting independence and positive outcomes
- Enhanced DBS Check (required for the role)
