Our client provides tailored solutions that deliver value across the entire life cycle of developing, constructing, financing, owning, and operating wind, solar, and battery storage projects. Given the ongoing expansion of the renewables sector and their project, they are looking to recruit a Graduate Asset Manager to expand their in-house operations team.
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Graduate Asset Manager, based in Warrington with the option for remote work flexibility. The Graduate Asset Manager will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of clean energy assets, analysing asset performance, preparing reports, and supporting financial and operational decision-making. The role involves liaising with internal teams, clients, and third-party providers to ensure efficient and effective asset operations. Additional responsibilities include contributing to the optimisation of asset performance and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.

- Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite; experience with asset management platforms is a plus
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid working environment, including office-based and remote tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are advantageous

Key responsibilities
- Building and maintaining sound working relations and representing the Company with all key stakeholders in relation to the wind assets both internally and externally (e.g. planners, landowners, turbine suppliers and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) providers, including representing the Company at local community benefit fund meetings)
- Managing all sites within the Company's portfolio ensuring that they are being effectively operated to optimise these assets in accordance with contractual, technical, environmental and budgetary requirements
- Identify fleet underperformance and liaise with the wider team to implement an action plan to resolve it
- Contract management of all operational contracts and asset management agreements
- Update an Asset Management Database tool for the operational fleet
- Compile reports/plans, including but not limited to, monthly technical reports, site inspection reports, turbine inspection reports, yearly budget plan, site maintenance plan etc.
- Proactively spend a portion of the working week identifying turbine underperformance, investing turbine alarms and faults in order to reduce downtime and improve performance
- Managing the performance of key contracts (e.g. O&M providers), agreements and budgets associated with the asset, ensuring a high level of service is being delivered in accordance with the terms of the contract and all parties have a clear understanding of their role and responsibilities
- Reviewing O&M service providers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) monthly reports, including identification and analysis of ongoing performance and ensuring all snagging issues are closed out promptly
- Co-ordinate and lead weekly and quarterly OEM meetings and internal management meetings
- Analysis of OEM alarms and status codes monthly to calculate and agree on the asset availability and complete monthly analytical reports
- Produce site inspection and audit reports detailing the site activity with regard to the OEM, 3rd party contractors and Balance of Plant (BOP) contractors
- Draft an annual maintenance planning programme to include all site maintenance
- Undertake turbine inspections, including but not limited to the turbine nacelle, hub and tower and drafting a report for senior management
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating with relevant professional societies
- Close liaison with Site Managers to manage all aspects of operations including, reporting, analysing availability figures and agree availability claims with OEMs
- Establishing, enforcing and exemplifying all aspects of the Company's Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) policies
- Participate in the tendering, procurement and renewal process for O&M activities/contracts during the operational phase
- Prepared to travel within UK and overseas when required
- Reporting on operational performance and providing detailed analysis and explanation to the wind farm owners/ the Board of directors
- Chair internal and external meetings in relation to the portfolio, taking responsibility for the minutes and circulating actions and ensuring these are followed through in a timely manner
- Fulfil asset management duties, along with any other reasonable requests from Line Management as required for the benefit of the Company
