Your new company

You'll be joining a leading civil engineering contractor delivering complex piling and ground‑engineering packages across major infrastructure schemes. Their teams specialise in Rotary Bored Piling, CFA piling, pile load testing and heavy civil operations, with a strong reputation for technical excellence, safety leadership and high‑quality delivery.

Your new role

You will operate as a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer on a busy piling project, providing engineering oversight, quality assurance and temporary works compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring design and quality compliance across all piling activities
  • Monitoring and evaluating ground condition variations
  • Producing RAMS, method statements, ITPs and lift plans
  • Managing rig instrumentation records, production graphs and as‑built drawings
  • Working closely with the Construction Supervisor to ensure safe, planned and compliant operations
  • Liaising with clients, designers, suppliers and commercial teams
  • Supporting contract administration, early warnings and compensation events
  • Attending weekly progress meetings and maintaining accurate daily records

Heavy civils and piling experience is essential.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Strong background in piling and ground engineering (Rotary Bored, CFA, load testing)
  • Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and temporary works
  • Ability to lead technical excellence and maintain strict quality standards
  • Competence across standard engineering IT packages
  • Relevant CSCS and up‑to‑date safety‑critical medical
  • Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with clients and designers
