Your new company You will be working for a well-established environmental consultancy delivering ecological, hydrological, and environmental advisory services across a range of infrastructure, development, and construction projects.

The business is recognised for its pragmatic approach, technical expertise, and commitment to providing high-quality, client-focused environmental solutions.

Your new role Climbing trees to inspect cavities, cracks, and roost features for bats.

Carrying out aerial inspections of trees and structures using climbing equipment and endoscopes.

Undertaking Preliminary Roost Assessments (PRAs) and assessing bat roost potential.

Supporting bat emergence, re-entry, and activity surveys, often during dawn or dusk periods.

Using bat detectors, infrared cameras, thermal imaging, and endoscopes to identify bat presence.

Recording survey data and producing field notes and reports.

Advising on ecological constraints, mitigation measures, and compliance with wildlife legislation.

You will be supporting this project for 1 week (40 hours per week).
