Your new company We are currently recruiting for an experienced Tenancy Services Housing Officer to join a well-established social housing organisation on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong tenancy management experience who is comfortable managing a varied caseload while also providing support and supervision within a busy housing team.
Your new role Managing a patch of tenancies and delivering a high-quality tenancy management service.
Supporting tenants to sustain their tenancies and addressing tenancy-related issues.
Investigating and resolving anti-social behaviour complaints.
Managing rent arrears cases and taking appropriate recovery action.
Conducting tenancy visits, tenancy reviews and estate inspections.
Assisting with neighbourhood management and community engagement initiatives.
Providing guidance, support and line management to team members where required.
Liaising with internal departments and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes for tenants.
What you ll need to succeed Previous experience in a housing officer, tenancy services or neighbourhood housing role.
Strong knowledge of tenancy management and housing legislation.
Demonstrable line management or supervisory experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage a demanding and varied workload effectively.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
