Your New Role As Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial function across a portfolio of significant residential developments, ensuring robust financial control, effective risk management and the successful delivery of commercial objectives.Working closely with operational teams and senior leadership, you will provide strategic commercial direction from pre-construction through to final account, whilst leading and supporting a high-performing commercial team. Key responsibilities will include: Leading all commercial activities across multiple live projects. Managing project profitability and financial performance. Overseeing procurement strategy and subcontractor management. Driving cost control, forecasting and reporting processes. Managing contractual and commercial risks. Negotiating and agreeing subcontract and client accounts. Providing commercial leadership to project delivery teams. Mentoring and managing Quantity Surveyors and commercial staff. Supporting the wider business through accurate commercial reporting and decision-making.What You'll Need to Succeed The successful candidate will be an experienced commercial professional with a proven track record delivering complex construction projects.
