HGV Drivers with CPC Card are required for ongoing temporary work in Chelmsford. Our client is looking for hard-working, reliable staff to drive around Chelmsford removing waste and recyclable from homes and businesses and take away for disposal or recycling. If you are physically fit and work well in a team, this job is for you.

In this role you will need to work quickly and cleanly and remain polite and professional with the public. Be upbeat, proactive and positive, with a 'can-do' attitude. You must also have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.

Work activities include:

  • Collecting residential waste and recycling in Chelmsford
  • Moving bags, wheelie bins and recycling bins and boxes
  • Using a lifting mechanism to tip the waste from bins into the lorry
  • Reporting any problems with waste collections
  • Helping waste collection operatives with collections

2 years HGV driving experience required but not essential.

Working hours: 6:30/7am start - 9.25 hours a day (job and finish) Tuesday to Friday 37 hours a week (overtime available depending on workload)
