We are currently looking for an experienced Tower Crane Operator for a residential development in Southampton, Hampshire. The crane is due to be erected on 17th August, with approximately 30 weeks (around 7 months) of work available for the right candidate.
Duties:
- Operating a JASO 52 Tower Crane
- Primarily cab-operated work
- Radio-controlled operation during the early stages of the project
- Lifting and moving materials safely around site
- Working closely with site management and lifting teams
- Carrying out daily checks and ensuring all operations are completed safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Tower Crane Operator qualification
- Valid Pedestrian/Remote Control Tower Crane qualification
- Previous experience operating tower cranes on busy construction sites
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable with a good work ethic and able to commit to a long-term project
