You will be joining a well-established and multi-accredited civil engineering contractor based in Birmingham with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK. This is a full-time permanent position based in the Birmingham area.
Your new role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of civil engineering works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing site operations from site set up through to completion
- Leading, mentoring and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensuring full compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
- Planning and sequencing civil works to meet project milestones and budgets
- Overseeing RAMS, temporary works and quality control processes
- Liaising closely with the Project Manager, engineers and client representatives
- Identifying and resolving technical, programme or resource issues
