Hays are partnering with a leading facilities management and support services organisation to recruit a Contract Quality Manager based in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to play a key role in driving service excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across a complex and high-profile contract environment.
The Role
As the Contract Quality Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality standards across the contract, ensuring services are delivered safely, consistently, and in line with contractual requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and delivering the annual quality audit programme.
- Coordinating audits with operational teams, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Investigating non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed out effectively.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and supporting operational teams in resolving quality issues.
- Monitoring contract performance through data analysis and reporting.
- Producing accurate internal and contractual reports, highlighting trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Supporting governance meetings and quality performance reviews with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensuring Quality Management System (QMS) processes are implemented, maintained, and continually improved.
- Working closely with operational teams and senior management to drive service improvements and customer satisfaction.
- Escalating safety concerns where required and ensuring actions are tracked to completion.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in quality management and a strong understanding of audit processes, corrective actions, compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies. You will ideally possess:
- Experience in a Quality Management, Compliance, Audit, or Continuous Improvement role.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
- Experience producing reports and analysing performance data to identify trends and risks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work independently and proactively manage your workload.
- A solutions-focused mindset with a passion for driving improvements.
Desirable experience includes:
- Facilities Management, Property Maintenance, Construction, Engineering, or other customer-focused operational environments.
- Experience working with Quality Management Systems.
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge or qualifications.
- Experience with CAFM systems such as Maximo.
- Membership of or working towards Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) accreditation.
- Experience within regulated or secure operational environments.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- British Citizen due to security requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain SC Security Clearance.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel occasionally between locations as required.
