Your new company: You will be joining an existing team at a large organisation in the Edinburgh area. Due to an increase in demand, they are looking to add additional staff to their waste collection team.

What you’ll need to succeed: You will need to be able to undertake hard manual work as this job will require you to work on your feet all day. It would be advantageous for applicants to have worked in a similar environment before, however, it is not essential to be considered for this position. Due to the nature of this role, no CSCS card or driving licence is needed. However, you must be able to make your way to the yard for an early start.

What you’ll get in return: You will be offered a start with a large employer on a long-term contract, with the potential for a permanent role to be applied for at any stage. Hays will pay you weekly PAYE with the option of building up a holiday allowance.
