We are looking for an experienced Groundsworker to join a construction or civils site in Plymouth. This role would suit someone practical, dependable and comfortable working across a range of groundwork duties. With this role, you will be required to lay porcelain tiles, so any experience in this will be a benefit.
Your new role:
- General groundworks, digging, trenching and preparation works
- Assisting with drainage, kerbing, concreting and external works
- Using hand tools and small plant where appropriate
- Supporting machine operators and site trades
- Keeping work areas safe, tidy and organised
- Working to site drawings, instructions and safety standards
What you'll need to succeed:
- Valid CSCS card
- Previous groundworks or civils experience
- Dumper, roller or additional plant tickets desirable but not essential
- Full PPE
- Good practical skills and a strong work ethic
- Reliable and available for work in Plymouth
