We are recruiting a Tenancy Support Officer to join a well-renowned housing association from early December! Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. Home-based with regular site visits to tenants across the local area. A car owner with a full driving licence and business insurance is required. Basic DBS required. 9-month+ contract. Interviews take place in early November with a December start. Your new role You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality housing and tenancy management service, supporting residents to sustain their tenancies. The role will involve managing rent arrears, anti-social behaviour cases, safeguarding concerns, tenancy breaches, complaints and complex neighbourhood issues. You will work closely with local authorities, support agencies and safeguarding teams while managing lettings, voids and tenancy sign-ups. This is a varied role requiring strong case management skills and a customer-focused approach to supporting vulnerable residents. What you'll need to succeed Previous experience working as a Housing Officer, Tenancy Officer, Neighbourhood Officer or similar role. You will have a strong understanding of tenancy management, rent arrears, welfare benefits and safeguarding, along with experience handling complex and sensitive cases. Excellent communication, problem-solving and report-writing skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload. A full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and business insurance are required.
