Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative / Snagger to join a busy Social Housing Kitchen Refurbishment Programme in Oldham.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established contractor delivering kitchen upgrades in occupied and void social housing properties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all finishing and snagging works following kitchen installations, ensuring properties are completed to a high standard before handover.
Your new role
Completing snagging lists following kitchen installations.
Adjusting kitchen units, doors, hinges, plinths, and worktops.
Carrying out minor joinery, patch repairs, and finishing works.
Making good around newly installed kitchens.
Silicone sealing, mastic work, and general finishing tasks.
Replacing damaged fixtures and fittings where required.
Conducting quality checks to ensure completed works meet required standards.
Connecting the pipes of kitchen appliances ready for handover.
Working within occupied social housing properties whilst maintaining excellent customer service.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience as a Finisher, Snagger, Multi-Skilled Operative, or Joiner.
Experience working within social housing refurbishment programmes is highly desirable.
Ability to complete high-quality finishing work with excellent attention to detail.
Own basic hand tools preferred.
