We are currently seeking an experienced Multi Trader to join a busy social housing maintenance team carrying out repairs and maintenance across residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for consistent, long-term work within the social housing sector.
The Role
As a Multi Trader, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of day-to-day repairs and maintenance works within occupied and void properties. You'll work independently to deliver high-quality repairs while providing excellent customer service to residents.
Typical Duties
- General property maintenance and repairs.
- Carpentry repairs including doors, locks, kitchens and fencing.
- Basic plumbing works.
- Patch plastering and making good.
- Painting and decorating touch-ups.
- Reactive and planned maintenance works.
- Identifying and resolving maintenance issues efficiently.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Multi Trader / Multi Skilled Operative, Maintenance Operative or similar.
- Experience working within social housing, housing associations or local authority properties.
- Strong carpentry skills with additional trade experience desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Own tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
