Leasehold / Neighbourhood Officer - Norwich Norwich, Norfolk £19.00 per hour PAYE / circa £24.50 per hour Umbrella / 37 hours per week | 3 months initially | Potential Temp-to-Perm Your new company Hays is working in partnership with an established housing provider in Norwich to recruit an experienced Leasehold / Neighbourhood Officer.This is an initial 3-month temporary position with the potential for extension and the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. Your new role You will provide a comprehensive housing management service specifically supporting leaseholders and shared owners, acting as a key point of contact for residents while managing your own varied caseload. Your responsibilities will include: Managing leasehold and neighbourhood cases Providing advice and guidance to leaseholders and shared owners Carrying out estate inspections, home visits and property visits Managing anti-social behaviour cases and breaches of lease Investigating and resolving resident complaints and complex enquiries Managing Section 20 consultations relating to major works Processing applications for landlord consent and permissions Ensuring residents understand their rights and responsibilities under their lease Working alongside service charge and asset management teams Liaising with contractors and other internal and external stakeholders Supporting planned maintenance and improvement works Supporting resident engagement and service improvements Taking appropriate enforcement action where requiredWhat you'll need to succeed You will ideally have previous experience within leasehold, homeownership, housing or neighbourhood management and be confident managing your own caseload.Experience within social housing would be particularly beneficial, alongside knowledge of leasehold legislation, Section 20 consultation, resident case management, ASB and neighbourhood services.Applications are welcomed from candidates who have previously worked as a Leasehold Officer, Homeownership Officer, Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer, Leasehold Services Officer or Home Ownership Specialist.A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required for this role. £19.00 per hour PAYE / circa £24.50 per hour Umbrella 37 hours per week Initial 3-month contract Potential for extension Temp-to-perm opportunity Norwich-based housing opportunity Opportunity to work across both leasehold and neighbourhood housing servicesWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or contact Adam Tooley at Hays for a confidential discussion.
