Your new role Lead and manage the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, competitive, and fully compliant bids. You'll take ownership from initial enquiry through to tender submission, negotiation, and contract award. Review tender documentation to identify scope, risks, opportunities, and compliance requirements Carry out initial bid assessments, defining strategy, programme, and resource requirements Manage and raise technical, commercial, and contractual queries with clients Lead and coordinate internal teams to deliver submissions to deadline Prepare and submit high-quality, competitive, and compliant tender returns Ensure all documentation meets internal standards and governance processes Represent the business in client meetings, presentations, and tender negotiations Contribute to tender adjudications, providing commercial input and recommendations Monitor bid progress and address risks impacting programme or quality Provide regular updates to senior management on live tenders Drive continuous improvement across bid and estimating processesWhat you'll need to succeed Minimum 5 years' experience in estimating, bid management, or pre-construction within the M&E sector Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services Proven track record delivering tenders from enquiry through to award Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documentation Strong commercial awareness including pricing, risk, and value engineering Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating / bid softwareWhat you'll get in return This is a great opportunity to join a growing, well-regarded M&E contractor with a strong pipeline of large-scale projects across the UK and Ireland.
