This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor with around 2+ years' experience who is currently progressing through their APC and looking to gain exposure to a diverse range of professional and project-led instruction across both public and private sector clients. The RoleWorking as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support the delivery of a full range of Building Surveying services across the North East and wider region. Key responsibilities include: Undertaking condition surveys, measured surveys and building inspections. Assisting with project management and contract administration duties. Preparing specifications, schedules of work and technical reports. Supporting the design and delivery of refurbishment and alteration projects. Carrying out defect diagnosis and preparing remedial recommendations. Assisting with due diligence and acquisition surveys. Working closely with clients and building strong professional relationships. Collaborating with colleagues across multiple disciplines to deliver successful project outcomes. Ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation and industry best practice.About You Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related RICS-accredited discipline. Currently progressing through your APC, ideally with around 12 months completed. Experience within a consultancy or client-side environment. Exposure to both professional building surveying and project work. Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts. Strong report-writing and communication skills. Client-focused with a proactive and collaborative approach. Experience within education, healthcare, local authority, government or infrastructure sectors would be advantageous.What's on Offer?
