Your new company: You will be working for a housing association which manages over 50,000 homes across the South. There is a temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidates with a salary of 36,691 + Van + Benefits including 28-days holiday.

Your new role: We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join the Empty Homes team, where you'll be completing a wide variety of trades tasks to a high standard with an emphasis on delivering an efficient repairs service to customers. You'll be working around Eastleigh, Southampton, Hampshire and surrounding areas.

Working as a great team player, you'll be carrying out work and installations to properties in an efficient and effective manner ensuring that all works are in accordance with good building maintenance practice. You'll carry out plumbing and carpentry repairs and installations to our properties, making sure that all works are planned, programmed and completed to the satisfaction of our customers. This will include plumbing in sinks/wash hand basins/baths/WCs, all tiling, lock changes, all carpentry and joinery, kitchen & bathroom fitting, maintenance of sanitary ware, patch plastering and decoration works.

They will provide you with your uniform, a van including fuel card, van vault, racking and inverter, company tablet & mobile as well as the PPE you need to let you crack on with what you do best. You'll be expected to supply your own hand tools and power tools. You will be required to cover Out of Hours Callouts on a rota basis, so a clean driving license is a must!

What you'll need to succeed: You will be an experienced multi trader who ideally has some social housing or property maintenance experience. You will hold an NVQ/City & Guilds or relevant qualification in your main trade. You will hold a full driving license.

What you'll get in return: £23 p/h umbrella + Van + Fuel Card. Opportunity to go temp to perm with a salary of 36,691.
