We are currently recruiting for a Mould Treatment Operative to join a well-established, experienced team. This role is initially to cover long term sickness; however, there is a high likelihood that the position could become permanent should circumstances change. This is a mobile role, primarily covering Greater Manchester, with planners aiming to keep operatives working within the same geographic area each day wherever possible.
You will attend an average of 4-6 jobs per day, carrying out specialist mould treatment works within residential properties. Responsibilities include:
- Removing mould using a specialist treatment product (two stage wash process)
- Applying two coats of anti mould paint
- Stripping wallpaper where required prior to treatment
- Completing works to a high standard within agreed timescales
- Working professionally within occupied social housing properties
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience carrying out mould treatment works
- Understand the likely causes of mould within residential properties
- Full UK driving licence
- NVQ or equivalent
