We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Plasterer to join a busy repairs and maintenance team delivering work within occupied social housing properties across the Mansfield area. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent work, with the potential to secure a permanent employed position for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be carrying out a wide range of responsive repairs and maintenance works within occupied properties, with a primary focus on plastering duties. In addition, you will be expected to complete basic repairs across associated trades to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Typical duties include:
- Patch plastering and full-room skimming
- Rendering and general plaster repairs
- Basic carpentry, tiling and decorating repairs
- Making good following repair works
- Working within occupied social housing properties
- Delivering excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plasterer
- Ability to carry out basic repairs across multiple trades
- Previous social housing repairs and maintenance experience is highly desirable
- Relevant qualifications beneficial but not essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own van and tools required
- Must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Mansfield
- Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
