Your new company Hays are currently recruiting for an experienced Domestic Testing Electrician to carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across residential and social housing properties throughout Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified electricians looking for consistent, long-term work with no remedial responsibilities, allowing you to focus solely on testing and reporting.

Your new role As an EICR Testing Electrician, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) within occupied and void domestic properties.
  • Inspecting and testing electrical installations in accordance with current regulations and industry standards.
  • Identifying code observations and accurately recording findings.
  • Completing reports electronically and submitting documentation promptly.
  • Working independently while managing your daily workload and appointments.
  • Providing a professional and courteous service when interacting with tenants and residents.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
  • Experience carrying out domestic EICRs.
  • Own calibrated testing equipment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
