Interim Building Surveyor in Liverpool

Your new company Your new company is a public services organisation based in Merseyside who require a Building Surveyor for 6 months. Your new role Building Condition Surveys Identifying defects and assessing condition. Preparing stock condition and maintenance reports. Insurance Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCAs in insurance valuation terminology may also mean Reinstatement Cost Assessments) Calculating rebuilding costs. Applying BCIS rebasing indices. Assessing demolition, professional fees, inflation, and abnormal costs. Root Cause Analysis of Building Defects Investigating issues such as damp, mould, structural movement, water ingress, condensation, roofing failures, and fire damage. Identifying underlying causes rather than symptoms. Producing expert reports and recommendations.What you'll need to succeed To succeed, you will need experience in a similar role and ideally affiliation to RICS, CIOB etc. What you'll get in return In return, you will get an excellent day rate and business mileage for site-to-site visits.
