Are you an experienced security professional looking for an opportunity to lead a major infrastructure project within one of Liverpool's most respected cultural organisations? We are recruiting for a Security Manager to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a large-scale Security Infrastructure Project, helping to protect people, assets, collections and public spaces across a diverse and high-profile estate. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and knowledgeable individual who can bridge the gap between operational security and project delivery, ensuring that new security systems, services and infrastructure meet operational requirements while supporting long-term organisational objectives.

Your new role

  • Lead and support the successful delivery of a major Security Infrastructure Project.
  • Provide professional security advice to project teams, consultants and contractors throughout design and implementation phases.
  • Act as the primary link between the Security team and wider project stakeholders.
  • Ensure security principles, risk management processes and Protect Duty requirements are considered at every stage of project delivery.
  • Support the development and implementation of wider security strategies, aligning them with long-term infrastructure objectives.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal departments, service providers and external partners.
  • Assist with the management and oversight of specialist security contractors.
  • Contribute to future security planning and capital investment programmes.
  • Review incidents and implement lessons learned to improve security processes and operational effectiveness.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working within large-scale, multi-site organisations.
  • Strong understanding of physical security operations and infrastructure projects.
  • Experience liaising with contractors, consultants and external service providers.
  • Knowledge of security risk management and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
