We are currently recruiting for experienced Plumbers / Bathroom Fitters to join a well-established Housing Association operating across the East Midlands. This role sits within the Planned Works Team, focusing on the installation and refurbishment of bathrooms within occupied residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

As part of a dedicated bathroom installation team, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality plumbing and bathroom fitting works within social housing properties, ensuring all work is completed to a professional standard with a strong focus on customer service.

Typical duties will include:

  • Full bathroom installations and refurbishments
  • Fitting baths, showers, basins, toilets and associated pipework
  • Completing plumbing and bathroom remedial works
  • Working within occupied residential properties
  • Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and customer care

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • Previous experience working as a Plumber or Bathroom Fitter within a planned maintenance or refurbishment environment
  • Experience working within social housing, local authority or residential property maintenance (preferred)
  • Own van and tools
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ideally, you will hold:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing, or City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing. However, relevant industry experience will be considered in place of formal qualifications.
