We are working with a growing Leeds-based fit-out contractor that delivers high-quality commercial interior projects for an impressive portfolio of clients across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint a Junior or Intermediate Estimator to join their commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting, fast-paced projects while learning from an experienced team in a business where the majority of work is secured through repeat business and negotiated opportunities rather than competitive tenders. The Role As an Estimator, you will support the pricing and procurement of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects from initial enquiry through to submission. Responsibilities will include: Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions Reviewing drawings, specifications and project information Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations Producing take-offs and cost plans Supporting senior estimators with larger projects Building relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors Helping to identify value engineering opportunities Maintaining estimating databases and historical cost information What We're Looking For Previous estimating experience within construction, fit-out, interiors or refurbishment Suitable for Junior Estimators looking to progress or Intermediate Estimators seeking greater responsibility Strong numerical and analytical skills Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Good communication and relationship-building skills Positive attitude and eagerness to learn Proficient with Microsoft Office packages Why Join?
