Overview: Hays are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager / Supervisor to oversee a salt barn demolition and rebuild project in Pytchley, Kettering (NN14). This is a six-month assignment with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.
Key Duties:
- Overseeing subcontractors on site
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Reviewing and implementing RAMS
- Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations
- Coordinating subcontractor activities and programmes
- Monitoring health & safety standards across site
- Reporting progress and issues to the Project Manager
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme
Requirements:
- Previous experience managing construction or civil engineering projects
- Strong subcontractor management skills
- Good understanding of Building Regulations
- Experience reviewing and managing RAMS
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and drive project progress
