A well-established regional housebuilder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments across Cumbria and the North West. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a live new build housing development in Burneside, Kendal.

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a live housing development, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards of quality.

Key duties will include:

  • Managing all site operations from groundwork through to handover
  • Coordinating subcontractors and site labour
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance across the development
  • Monitoring programme and maintaining build schedules
  • Conducting quality inspections and managing snagging processes
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal project teams
  • Producing site reports and attending progress meetings

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Proven experience managing new build housing developments
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates
  • Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and housebuilding processes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage programme, quality and health & safety simultaneously
  • Full UK driving licence
