Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Housing Officer to join our Housing Services team within the local authority sector.
The successful candidate will help to support a targeted piece of work focused on engaging tenants who have been affected by recent flooding across the region. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to recovery efforts and help residents navigate housing challenges during a critical time.
Your new role

Lead on tenant engagement and consultation activities, ensuring affected residents are fully supported and informed.
Provide tailored housing options advice and guidance, including support with tenancy transfers and relocation where necessary.
Work closely with tenants to understand their needs and co-develop solutions that promote tenancy sustainment and wellbeing.
Support estate management activities, including inspections and coordination with internal teams and external agencies.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting on progress and outcomes of the flood recovery work.
