Our client is a leading social housing contractor delivering responsive repairs, planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across the region. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their established team on a permanent basis.
As a Painter & Decorator, you will be responsible for carrying out internal and external decorating works across both void and occupied social housing properties. You will ensure all work is completed to a high standard, maintaining excellent customer service when working within residents' homes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing surfaces including filling, sanding and making good
- Internal and external painting and decorating works
- Wallpaper removal and minor repairs where required
- Working in both tenanted and void properties
- Ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales and quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service
